For Brock Holtzclaw, tree care isn’t just a career — it’s a family legacy. As a second-generation arborist, Brock grew up watching the craft firsthand, learning the value of proper pruning, safety, and respect for the environment from an early age. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design from North Carolina State University, he built Releaf Tree Works with the mission of bringing science-based, environmentally responsible, and locally focused tree care to Charlotte. Brock believes every tree tells a story, and his passion is helping homeowners protect and preserve the landscapes they love while continuing the work his family started.
